Cornerstone

The London Network of Christians offering Professional Counselling and Psychotherapy

Cornerstone

We are a London-based network of Christians with professional qualifications in counselling and psychotherapy. Our members have undergone a full training in one of the main secular training institutions, leading to registration as a member of one of the following: British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP); United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP); The British Psychoanalytic Council.

We provide a confidential counselling and psychotherapy service for people who need help with personal problems. Our service is open to anyone, regardless of age, gender, sexuality, ethnicity and faith preference.

We are interested in working with people for whom the opportunity to explore the spiritual side of life is important. We have gained particular experience in working with clergy, clergy couples, religious and those in lay ministry. We are also committed to helping those who do not subscribe to a faith of any kind.

All our members work within the Ethical Framework of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

NOTE : It may be important for some people viewing this site to be aware that whilst Cornerstone counsellors and psychotherapists are all committed Christians, our training has taken place in secular institutions. We would respect the place of prayer and Bible Study in the lives of the Christian people we see, but we are not able to offer these as part of our ways of working.
